A gout attack can be excruciatingly painful. It may become even more difficult if you have work to do and a strict routine to follow. Manjistha is an Ayurvedic herb known for its cooling effect on gout pain. Pinda Thailam from Kerala Ayurveda is high in Manjistha and can be used as an Ayurvedic oil for joint pain, a gout oil, and an Ayurvedic medicine for uric acid issues associated with gout.
Pinda Thailam is an effective product derived from Ashtanga Hridayam, a 2500-year-old authentic Ayurvedic recipe book.
Ingredients
- Madhuchishta
- Manjistha
- Sarja Rasa
- Sveta Sariba
- Tila Thaila
Dosage:
To use Pinda Thailam, place the required amount in a bowl, sit in a comfortable position on a non-slippery surface, and gently apply the oil over your heels (or any affected area(s)). Massage the area gently in slow, circular motions to allow the oil to absorb completely. Allow it to sit for about 30 minutes before washing with warm water and patting dry.
Warming the oil before application is an option. This can yield the best results. It’s also worth noting that Pinda Thailam contains natural beeswax. At colder temperatures, this could cause the oil to freeze. However, churning the bottle between your palms may help loosen the oil in such cases.
